Glittering Flower Pocket
What a week it has been! Christmas was great this year; I received a lot of crafting stuff as gifts!! But I had to wait to try everything out because when I came home there was a lot waiting for me. The days before Christmas where so busy so I couldn't found the time to organize everything.
I am happy that everything is all set now and that I am free again! I love to craft in my free time, so I made something new today!
Today's creation was made for:
There She Goes -- Flowers
Little Red Wagon -- Flowers
Crafty Creations Challenge -- GLITTER and BLING
Creative Card Crew -- Anything Goes
Rosie-D's Challenge -- Free Theme
Lexi Creations -- Pastel Colours
P.S. Due to a technical problem I had to remove my previous post of this same message including the comments made by several persons. I am really sorry they could not be saved!

Special gift for Mom & Winner of Whiff of Joy Images
Hi everyone!
...
...
...
Only 5 days until Christmas, it's cold outside and we had a national weather alarm here in the Netherlands! Absolutely a good time to show a Christmas creation and announce the winner of the 5 Whiff of Joy Christmas images to make it a little warm!
I made a gift card for my mom (yes I know, I am really going to spoil her this Christmas!!). I wanted to use my new hot fix tool but realized that I didn't have enough stones to make the word "Mom" so I decided to do it the old way: gluing!
Today's creation was made for:
Creative Card Crew -- Anything Goes
Stamp Something -- "Holiday Somethings"
Polka Doodles -- Make anything you like!
Stamptacular Sunday -- Multi-Folds
The Corrosive Challenge -- Blingy
Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge -- Special Christmas Card
Closer look at "Mom"
The card inside is written in Dutch and means "2 days Antwerp with your youngest doughter! You will stay in the Sandton Hotel in the center of the city" I am happy that my mom understands that she really has to stay away from my blog until Christmas! ;-)
And now the second part of the post! The winner of the Whiff of Joy images!
The winner picked by the random number generator is.....
38. Durvina!
Congrats Durvina, please send me your address by email, you can find it through my profile!
Thanks everybody for your sweet comments!!!

It is incredible how tired one can be after a few days of shopping, watching movies and playing cards! ;-) I had a lot of fun with my mom, but I also missed my blog and crafting very much! So when my mom went home, I started a new project; a gift bag for her for Christmas! I decided to use some images of the christmas collection from Magnolia from this year and the year before! Frosty the Snowman
Before going to today's card I would like to thank Katja very much for being awarded the Your Blog is Fabulous for the second time! That is really kind and I feel honoured! I was also very surprised to find my name in the top three of the Polka Doodles Challenge! It is the first time that I win something this way instead of at random, so I appreciate this very much.
Today I finally managed to do something again. I had started with a different project but that didn't work out so I started with a different card. For this card I initially used a sketch but that didn't work out again so I decided to leave the sketch and go by my own design. I used a large amount of stickles but am not convinced that they really show that well.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Warm Wishes
Computers are the greatest things when they work, but if they don’t then they can be really annoying! The past few days my computer has been leading a life of its own, apparently because some kind of virus had it infected it. But it’s all solved now although it took me a lot of time which I had rather spent on visiting your blogs! Sorry about that!
In January a new challenge blog will start which I’d love to participate in. The owners are looking for guest designers for which a challenge was created: Non Christmas colours!
Have a look at the blog: Scrapcards Challenge
Today I worked with Distressing ink for the first time and I love it! I see great potential in it. For my current card I started with treating all the borders. When I could not find a suitably coloured ribbon I treated that too. Furthermore I found my embossed paper to be too dark so I sanded and treated the white areas that appeared with distress ink.

Christmas Anya
180 days.... If I say it like that, it sounds as a long time.. but time flies! I was shocked when I saw on my blog that there are 180 days left on my weddingcounter. 180 days to find the perfect dress, cake, everything! I'm really happy that we found the location already (a genuine castle, like in a fairytale!). But there is still so much to do, like making the invitations! Funny to see how much time you need to organize the perfect wedding ;) In the meantime, I'll make cards, like today ;)

Christmas is all around!
23 days left before christmas and I'm in the mood! I spent the past few days shopping with my mom, because we really needed a christmas tree and everything to decorate! When I came home I couldn't wait to set it all up, so my tree is done and it is really gorgeous! I would love to have it the whole year because it is so cozy! After this post I'll drop myself on the coach with hot chocolate. I hate the weather at this time of the year, but Christmas is a wonderful time!

Heavenly Christmas
First, I want to say thank you to Peet and Kimmie, who gave me the Kreativ Blog Award. I feel honoured, but I already did the blog "rules" after receiving it last week.
Today I really wanted to try to make a cute christmas card, but this time without the normal christmas colours. (Green, Red and Gold). I'm quite happy with the result. I gave the space around the stamp a bit of colour with a blue coloured chalk, which might be a low-budget alternative for people without an airbrush ;)

I was cleaning up my cupboard today and found a nice image from The Greeting Farm among my stuff. I had tucked away to make something from it in the future but totally forgotten about it. Christmas Kitty Cat
Hello again everyone!
Such kind reactions I had on my blog during the past days! It's wonderful to read these, especially on a less joyful day which really brighten up things for me.
Today something exciting happened: I won another Blog Candy! It's 26 Whiff of Joy prints from the Christmas series! Guess I'll be making Christmas cards some more. And that is quite a coincidence because just before winning this candy I had decided to make one. I'm really not that much about making Christmas cards and I didn't really have a lot of paper to choose from. It's not that I'm against Christmas but making cards for that theme just isn't my thing. Nonetheless I wanted to try it again and when I look at the result I'm not entirely satisfied again though I can't figure out what exactly is my problem with it. Anyone'd like to share their thoughts, advice...?

Sweet Forever Friends
Goodmorning to you all! Yesterday I spent too much money again in a crafting store. But that's just the way it goes and I'm sure most of you will recognise that. I acquired several Die Cuts, embossing plates and could not resist two paper pads of Forever Friends; they were the cutest things! Because my previous pocket card was so much fun to make I started on a new one right away. I'm curious to know what you think of it. Have a nice weekend!

A Star is Born
Yesterday I suddenly realised that it was time to make another birth card because a friend of ours is expecting her first by the end of this month. Without realising it I made it for a boy...! Could that be a sign?? I enjoyed making the recent Easel card so much that I couldn't resist making another one. I'm really curious to read what you think of it!

Hi everyone!
Here's a quick post. I'm thinking of a warm bath right now just before going to bed, but I really wanted to share today's project!
